I often find this happens if we ever have a little windfall.
We got awarded £500 compensation because a company filed something on our credit report that they shouldn't have, just in time for the vets bill of £475.00
Got awarded £200.00 tax rebate, only to have to part with £350.00 for a seasonal parking permit, because someone complained that our house had 2 residents permits and each house should only have one. Can still use the residents car park but have had to pay £200.00 more than anyone else because we have 2 vehicles (one is OHs patrol van for work).
I know we can look at this another way, that it's lucky we got these pennies from heaven but I'm sure we are never destined to be well off
Funny, this has happened to us many times. You start planning what you are going to do with this lovely windfall, then an unexpected bill or something breaks. I don't think that we were destined to be wealthy!
Never drive faster than your guardian angel can fly.
Same here! Traditionally my biggest payday is August - because I have all of the school children as well as the little ones. It generally works out that all of the extra money is needed and there is usually just enough earned to pay for it!
