The Medieval Microwave

She has recently produced a booklet called The Medieval Microwave, which with the help of a friend Colony Keane has now produced on disc.
In this booklet is a host of interesting and mouth watering recipes based on century old recipes with a twist!
Even though modern day lives are so busy, we still crave for that flavour of good old fashioned fresh wholesome food, that at one time the ingredients were only available to you at certain times of the year.
As Anne states in her book

The Quick Chocolate Fudge is a recipe from Gifts and Decorations section
2oz plain chocolate
2oz butter
½lb icing sugar sieved
1½ tablespoons milk
1. Place the chocolate, butter, icing sugar and milk in a large Microwave bowl and Microwave for 1½ 2 minutes until the chocolate has melted.
2. Beat vigorously with a wooden spoon until smooth.
3. Pour into 4 x 3 inch rectangular dish. Leave to set in a refrigerator, approximately 1-2 hours.
Cut into squares and pack in airtight containers.
ALL RECIPES AND TIMINGS ARE BASED ON AN 800W OUTPUT OVEN AND COOKED ON HIGH UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE.
The booklet is interspersed with colour and black and white medieval illustrations and is an absolute haven of wonderful remedies and recipes that are so quick and easy to use.
