Womens Thoughts

My name is Clare Emerton and I am thrilled to be able to write a bit about myself on this fantastic women’s site.

I live with my husband Simon and my 3 beautiful boys Will 14, Andrew 11 and James who is 5. My career was in a High Street Bank when I left college then I met my husband and started my family.

Losing my financial independence was really hard and to be honest I hated it!! I was desperate to fit work in around my family then I came across a direct selling Company. I started as a nervous consultant going to houses, demonstrating and showing my products. My confidence grew and I soon managed a team of consultants then a team of managers.  I was with them for 10 years. I ran my own successful business beyond my dreams.

It has also helped and enabled me to develop my charity work for Hope House Children’s Hospice, meeting people and spread the word about the valuable work that the Hospice does. Over the last few years I have helped raise about £50,000.

Now it’s time for a new challenge and I am very excited to tell you about my brand new venture.

There’s a new  Party in town - Jamie At Home which launched on March 23rd 2009.

The opportunity is to have a business partnership with Jamie Oliver, sharing his values and passion and building a great business. The new Jme Collection is an inspirational brand taking Jamie Oliver beyond food and the kitchen and into the home. It’s inspired by Jamie’s relaxed approach to eating, entertaining and enjoying life.
