Who is on in the forests this year, 2012? See below!
How does combining music, the great outdoors, friends and a picnic sound? Once again the Forestry Commission is holding music concerts around the country. They began in 2000 when it was considered to be an exciting new way to attract people to the forests who had perhaps never experienced the woodlands and their beauty. By enjoying a concert in such a natural location, it was hoped that concert goers would return at a later date. The concerts have proved to be very popular.
2012 season will see Razorlight, Plan B, Will Young, Alphie Boe, The Darkness, The Wombats, Steps performing. Check below for performances at the individual venues.

High Lodge, Thetford Forest, Suffolk,
Sherwood Pines Forest, Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire
Westonbirt, National Arboretum, Nr, Tetbury, Glous.
Bedgebury Pinetum and Forest, Nr, Goudhurst , Kent
Dalby Forest, Nr, Pickering, North Yorks
CannockChase Forest, Nr, Rugeley, Staffordshire
