 In 2008 the company was acquired by new owners with new ideas. FDJ targets the over 35 women, supplying real women with jeans and other items of clothing that are designed to follow your curves. The company donates a percentage from every pair of jeans it sells to breast cancer research, close to $3 million!

Their jeans are styled with tummy slimmer, butt lifter or easy and natural fits to enhance a woman’s natural shape. The company use a stretch fabric which includes Lycra that allows the jeans to bend and breathe with the wearer. The style of pockets on the bottom and the design of pockets on the front are all part of what helps a woman to look slimmer when wearing them. The waist rise is also taken into account and is incorporated into the designs with regular, mid and lower rise available.

Available at around £100 these are cheaper than NYDJ and are well worth considering. In the words of one wearer, “I don’t get a builder’s bum with these as they move and stretch with me!”
