Hi, my name is Emma Foden. I am a Personal Trainer and Exercise Scientist which generally makes people roll their eyes at me because of the thought of getting sweaty (or whatever other thoughts spring to mind with exercise) and thinking that they can’t tell me that they had chocolate or a whole bottle of wine the night before!
But that’s where they’re wrong!
I like the odd bar of dark chocolate and definitely a glass of rose or two goes lovely with a meal, its just about what else you eat and drink and when you eat and drink it! We are all human, and these lovely, unhealthy foods are great and just what we need, in moderation!
There are also a lot of misconceptions about exercise. People don’t need to get hot and sweaty to feel the benefits of exercise, but if you want to, that’s fine too! I strongly believe you need to be fit for your purpose, so if that’s working at a desk all day and walking all weekend, or looking after lively children or grandchildren or cleaning the house then you need to exercise to enable you to do that for as long as you want to.
Through Women’s Thoughts, I hope to be educating you on health, fitness and exercise. Dispelling some common myths and telling you how, through food and exercise, you could change your body shape, get into the clothes you’ve always wanted to, what to eat and when to eat it. Small changes will help you to feel and look healthier!

The offer is £100 for 5 personal training sessions at your home or workplace, in the following areas,Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire
There is no catch. You will get a FREE lifestyle evaluation before the sessions start to ensure we aim for the right goals and you’re healthy enough to start.
Then we will book in 1 session a month. Sessions will concentrate on exercise but nutrition will be assessed.
The main reason why exercise habits fail is lack of motivation and lack of seeing results quickly enough. With 1 session a month, you will need to be self motivated although I promise to send you a text message every single day for 5 months to make sure you reach your daily goal, just a gentle kick up the bum! You also need to be honest with yourself and how much time you have to exercise. If you can exercise every day you will notice improvements quicker than if you only manage once a week, but it will be our job to set you a monthly target so that in 6 months you will have reached your goal. Just in time for Summer!
Money is non refundable and all sessions should be booked one month in advance. Payment options available. You can have sessions with other people but offer applies to the individual.
