ChloBo, Bibi Alhaja, Pandora, Tiffany, has anyone got one of these little treasures in their jewellery box?
If you’re anything like me you’ve got at least one of each and a financially crippling addiction to everyone of the bracelet brands. This phenomenon of silver clad wrists draped in bangles, beads and charms does seem to be ever growing; I don’t think I can walk down one of our Cheshire streets without spotting someone donning one of brands.
Tiffany was the first one for me, as I turned 18 family, presented me with a set of bangles, a classic necklace and a dainty pair of earrings. Timeless pieces that I’d never bore of, just grow to appreciate more with age. I can’t pretend that I don’t get that flutter of excitement inside when I see the Tiffany blue box.
ChloBo was next! The designer herself describes it as ‘irresistibly collectable jewellery’, and so true. The jewellery is made from sterling silver and semi precious stones with charms to suit every mood. With the extensive range of jewellery continuously expanding with new designs there is always a piece that catches my eye. (Currently the black and silver rosary bead design from Bottega, one of Chlo Bo’s the stockists). I’m completely hooked! Not only does Chlo Bo cater for us ladies, but the designer also makes smaller bracelets for all the young girls that want to be part of the Chlo Bo club.
I discovered Bibi Alhaja at a similar time to Chlo Bo. A similar concept with a slightly tougher edge to it. They regularly mix their silver beads with inter woven leather creating a more rustic vibe. Not only do they offer a fabulous bracelet range, but chunky necklaces that stand out, and charm clad earrings. Bibi Alhaja has this unique ability to design jewellery that is suitable for both a conservative affair and a chilled out beach bar.
The Pandora charm bracelet was given to me this year for my birthday with my very first charm. This piece is the perfect gift for any girl. A bracelet that she can build up over time, with charms that are personal to who she is creating an individual unique piece of jewellery. This modern day charm bracelet concept is thriving with brands such as Tadora, and Troll Beads using the same idea. I’ve already started to pick out the charms I’m after for Christmas, ideal for stocking fillers!!
